Dear Parents,

Welcome to Mrs. Linton’s Social Studies website!  I am a firm believer that strong parent-teacher communication is one of the keys necessary to maximize student learning.  With that in mind, it is my hope that this website will help you communicate with me.  In addition to having the option of calling me at school (678-407-7140) or sending a quick note with your student, I can also be reached via email. If you ever have a question, concern, or something you would like to share with me, please feel free to use the email link located to the left.  I check my email several times each day (and during evenings and weekends) and make it a priority to be prompt in responding to your messages. Another goal of mine is that this website will help keep you up-to-date on what we’re learning in the classroom.  Each day, a listing of daily home learning assignments can be found on the “Home Learning” page.  In order to give you an idea of what’s to come, important dates will also be constantly updated on the “Home Learning” page.  As the year progresses, student-created work will be displayed on the “Student Showpieces” page.  Finally, be sure to take some time and check out the “Student Links” page as you support your student at home!
